"I am happy with the quality of the adapter with only one issue. I use RRS tripods and mounting accessories. They use a locking pin to keep the attachment from walking forward or backward. I wish that the adapter had the locking hole machined into the bottom of the adapter to do the same. I will machine the holes, but it would have saved time to have them already in the adapter. But, the adapter is well made."

Perfect accessory!
"I have the Spartan Javelin Pro Tac bipod that is used across three rifles (two air and one ballistic) with either Spartan Classic or Gunsmith adaptors fitted in various positions (forward for bipod, or at the balance point - or as close as I can get to it) for tripod mounting. I also have a Manfrotto tripod for camera and telescope use, with their PL200 connector. Where I had been clamping my rifles into the tripod I now have the Spartan Converter in a Swiss Arca to PL200 adaptor - and I can now just put my rifle(s) onto the Arca to Spartan converter, and no clamps! All rifles just ‘sit there’ ; no movement at all, and lift off, traverse or remount in a second thanks to the Spartan magnet system. It makes standing, hands free, for - sometimes - hours waiting for the vermin (rats, rabbits, pigeons etc) to appear so much more comfortable. A brilliant and useful, inexpensive accessory!"
