When I was told that the attachment system was the same as the Javelin Bipod, I was instantly sold. The Hoplite is lightweight and packable, but can hold a spotter and provide a shooting platform that negates the need for me to carry an extra bipod.

The Hoplite Tripod utilizes the MagnaSwitch attachment system. Simply mount one of the Spartan classic adapters to your rifle, and the tripod can be attached in seconds.
Simply mount one of the Spartan optics or binocular adapters to your device, then attach it directly to the Hoplite Tripod using the MagnaSwitch attachment system.
Adapters are not included with this product and will need to be purchased separately.

"Coming from the world of full-height/length tripods, it was easy to see the Hoplite as an incredible addition to my hunting kit. Sometimes, you simply don't need longer legs for your spotting scope or rifle. Sometimes, a smaller tripod footprint makes more sense in rocky terrain or where you can snug up against the terrain for a smaller profile. This tripod is sturdy, incredibly adjustable, and modular. Recently, at the range, I used the same tripod on the shooting bench while zeroing for both my rifle and then my spotting scope. It wasn't long before the range master came by and asked about it.
