How Do I Attach My Rifle to the Davros Head Gen 2?

The Davros Head utilizes the MagnaSwitch attachment system. Simply mount one of the Spartan Classic adapters to your rifle, and the head can be attached in seconds.

How Do I Attach Binoculars and Optics to the Davros Head Gen 2?

Simply mount one of the Spartan optics or binocular adapters to your device, then attach it directly to the Ascent Tripod using the MagnaSwitch attachment system.

Are Adapters Included With the Davros Head Gen 2?

Adapters are not included with this product and will need to be purchased separately.

What’s the difference between the Davros and the Davros Pro?

The Davros Head™ with Arca is a more simple and lightweight design. Elevation and depression are adjusted by twisting a collar on the ball head. Panning is fixed on this Davros Head™. Choose this option if packability is a main priority and you don’t intend to rely on it as heavily for long glassing sessions.

The Davros Pro Head™ Gen 2 has more features that lend it to a higher degree of precision with your optics. This ball head also has a wide range of elevation and depression angles. Additionally, it includes a dedicated smooth panning base for extended glassing sessions, and twist-style knurled knobs for precise friction adjustments that increase control of your rifle or optic. A locking knob secures everything in position. When you’re going to spend more time behind the glass, the extra weight of this product is worth it.

Can I mount a Davros Head to my non-Spartan tripod?

Yes. It will screw onto anything with a 1/4-20" UNC or 3/8-16" UNC male thread, or an Arca clamp.
