Notable Achievements
  • I run my own digital marketing agency specialised in the hunting industry, working with brands worldwide. Jaegerinden is the other half of my work: communicating hunting through food.
  • Raising two daughters who think butchering a deer on a casual Sunday is completely normal.

"Sixteen years ago my husband got his hunting licence, and I didn't understand him at all.

How could anyone shoot animals for fun? He talked me into joining a bird shoot as a beater, and I said yes mostly for the nature and the dogs.

That day started an education that hasn't stopped since. What I found was that hunting is barely about pulling the trigger. It's about the community, the dogs, the campfire, the cold mornings and the meat you carry home. The shot is the smallest part of the day.

Today I work as Jaegerinden, communicating hunting through the one thing everyone understands: food. I bring wild game into kindergartens, schools, workplaces and public food events in the middle of Copenhagen — places hunting normally never reaches. People who arrive sceptical tend to leave curious.

That is the whole method: don't argue, cook.

I live just outside Copenhagen with my husband, our two daughters and our hunting dog Birdie. I'm currently producing Hunting Through Food, a documentary about this work."
