Overview

The Classic Guide Adapter allows users to quickly utilise Spartan products that feature the MagnaSwitch™ attachment system. It provides a convenient mounting option for rifles equipped with a sling swivel stud. This adapter is particularly useful if you prefer not to remove the existing sling swivel stud or if the stud cannot be removed. The Classic Guide Adapter installs directly onto the sling swivel post without requiring any permanent modification to the rifle.

Installing the Adapter

Installation of the Classic Guide Adapter is quick and straightforward.

Begin by unscrewing the stainless steel locking pin from the adapter body. Position the adapter over the rifle’s sling swivel stud so that the adapter sits securely around the stud.

Insert the stainless steel locking pin through the adapter, lining up the hole in the sling swivel stud. Tighten the locking pin using the supplied hex key to a maximum torque of 5 inch-pounds.

Securing the Adapter

Once the locking pin is installed, secure the adapter by tightening the two stainless steel grub screws located on the top ends of the adapter.

Tighten the screws evenly until the adapter is firmly secured to the sling swivel stud. Do not exceed a maximum torque of 15 inch-pounds when tightening the grub screws.

Attaching a Bipod or Tripod

After installation, Spartan accessories can be attached using the MagnaSwitch™ spigot connection.

To attach a bipod or tripod, align the spigot with the slot in the adapter and guide it into position. The integrated magnet will help locate the spigot and retain the accessory securely during use.
