Kestros Sling - Product Guide

Overview

The Kestros Sling is a modular rifle sling designed for versatile carry and rapid integration with Spartan systems. It enables quick mounting of the Javelin Pro Hunt Tac when paired with the Kestros Clip and offers multiple carry positions for comfort and adaptability in the field.

Attaching the Sling to Your Rifle

• Turn the knurled wheel anti-clockwise until the thread engages, continuing until it reaches the end of the thread and stops.
• Push the wheel inward to de-tent the spring, allowing the pin closure gate to rotate 90 degrees in your preferred orientation. Insert the sling pin through the rifle’s sling stud eyelets, then close the pin gate so it sits securely in place.
• Tighten the knurled wheel clockwise until it disengages from the thread and spins freely. Repeat this process on the opposite sling stud. Ensure the sling is not twisted, the buckles face outward, and the wide padded section sits comfortably on your shoulder in your chosen carry orientation.

Sling Positions

Position 1 – Standard Carry: Carry the rifle in a standard configuration, either muzzle up or muzzle down across one shoulder.

Position 2 – Over-Shoulder Carry: Disconnect the male connector by squeezing the sides with the three raised dots. Pass the sling behind your head so it rests on the opposite shoulder, with the smaller pad centered for comfort. Reconnect to the most suitable attachment point.

Position 3 – Under-Arm Carry: Disconnect the male connector and route the sling under your arm. Reconnect to create a 90-degree attachment under the armpit, providing an alternative supported carry position.

Installing the Kestros Clip

Fold the central section of the sling fabric aside so only one layer is exposed. Slide the Kestros Clip into position, ensuring the higher side faces upward in line with the rifle’s carry orientation. This ensures the Pro Hunt Tac interface faces upward.

Insert the opposite section of the sling into the clip so both sides sit evenly. Repeat the process for the lower clips. For final adjustment and correct buckle positioning, refer to the video guide.
