Overview

The Disc-Lok™ Picatinny Adapter allows Spartan bipods, tripods, and accessories to attach quickly to rifles equipped with M1913 Mil-Std Picatinny rails. It provides a simple and secure mounting point for products such as the Vidarr Bipod, Hercules Tripod and CP Brace.

Installing the Adapter

Installing the Disc-Lok™ Picatinny Adapter is quick and straightforward.

Begin by loosening the Torx screw using the supplied T20 Torx key. Once loosened, place the adapter onto the Picatinny rail and ensure it is properly seated within the rail slot.

After confirming the correct positioning, tighten the Torx screw until the adapter is securely fixed to the rail.

Adapter Orientation

The orientation of the Disc-Lok™ Picatinny Adapter is largely down to personal preference.

Many users choose to install the adapter with the grip to detent the adapter facing towards the end of the rifle, so that you can attach and detach the bipod by pulling the adapter towards you.

If preferred to push the adapter forward to release the bipod and detach, please attach the adapter the other way with the grip facing towards the rear of the rifle

Additional Screws

The 2 Friction adjustment Grub Screws are found on the Left and Right side of the Adapter and requires a 1.5mm HEX key. M3×4. Loosening each of these allows for slight movement and adjustment of the adapter mechanism, by fulling loosening them this allows for greater movement and disassembly of the adapter when fully removed.

The Traverse Locking Grub Screw Pin is located on the opposite side to the knurled detent, and requires a Torx 10 Key to adjust M5×10. By fully tightening this will remove the ability to quick detach, and locks your bipod to the adapter. By fulling loosening them this allows for greater movement and disassembly of the adapter when fully removed.
