The Classic Picatinny Adapter allows Spartan bipods, tripods, and accessories to attach quickly to rifles equipped with M1913 Mil-Std Picatinny rails. It provides a simple and secure mounting point for products such as the Javelin Bipod, Ascent and Sentinel tripods, and Davros heads.
Once installed, Spartan accessories can be attached or removed in seconds using the MagnaSwitch™ System, allowing shooters to quickly transition between supported and unsupported shooting.
Installing the Adapter
Installing the Classic Picatinny Adapter is quick and straightforward.
Begin by loosening the Torx screw using the supplied T30 Torx key. Once loosened, place the adapter onto the Picatinny rail and ensure it is properly seated within the rail slot.
After confirming the correct positioning, tighten the Torx screw until the adapter is securely fixed to the rail.

Adapter Orientation
The orientation of the Classic Picatinny Adapter is largely down to personal preference.
Many users choose to install the adapter with the large cut-out positioned on the left-hand side of the rifle. When configured this way, and with the locking lever facing toward the target, the bipod will operate in "Hunt Mode", allowing the rifle to pan smoothly when tracking targets.
