Quick Shot Rest - Product Guide

The Quick Shot Rest is a versatile add on to get the most out of your Spartan system. There is the option to directly mount a V-Cradle to your SpringBok Tripod and SpringBok Bipod, the option to thread onto a tripod leg to create a monopod and attach to a MagnaSwitch™ spigot where added speed is essential.

Overview

The Quick Shot Rest provides a fast, instinctive support option when speed is critical. This V-Cradle can be used across multiple Spartan platforms, including tripods, quad sticks. Or can be directly threaded into M14 leg systems or SpringBok Silicone Heads.

This rest is for the times when even the speed of MagnaSwitch™ may hinder your shot, for situations such as shooting dangerous game in Africa, where a quick rest is prioritized over being locked in.

Installation & Use

MagnaSwitch™ Attachment

The Quick Shot Rest comes with a MagnaSwitch sleeve which can be used to attach onto Spartan MagnaSwitch Tripod. This is mainly for Ascent or Hoplite tripods.

Using a T10 Torx key, loosen the grub screws by turning anti-clockwise. Insert the V Cradle into the adapter. Re-tighten the grub screws by hand, turning clockwise to secure. To attach to your tripod, align the MagnaSwitch™ male spigot with the female adapter and push into place until secured.

Note: The Quick Shot Rest is not compatible with Spartan bipods due to spigot length and the limiter pin on javelin bipod spigots.

M14 Thread Compatibility

The Quick Shot Rest can also be used as a monopod head by threading it clockwise onto any M14-compatible leg. Tighten securely by hand. This is best paired with an Ascent or Hercules Leg.

Direct To Tripod Option

The Quick shot also comes with a direct to tripod adapter, where you can remove the existing spigot on a Springbok Tripod and SpringBok Bipod.

using the appropriate tool remove the MagnaSwitch spigot from the silicon head. Install the direct M14 connector using the flat spanner edges to tighten. Loosen the grub screws using a T10 Torx key. Insert the V Cradle. Re-tighten the grub screws to secure.
